Your personal privacy is extremely important to us. We provide three privacy settings to allow you to control who can see your public profile information.
In the "Manage My Everyday Health" module on your personalized homepage, click onl the "Edit Profile"ink. Then, in the box labeled "Edit Profile" at left, click on "Privacy Settings." Then choose the appropriate option below:

ME. select this option, no one can view your profile except you. This option allows you to personalize your homepage while maintaining your complete privacy. Members on your Friends & Family list will not be able to see your profile, and it will not appear in search results.

My Friends & Family. Selecting this option allows only Friends & Family to see your full profile. Other visitors will see a shortened profile that only contains your screen name, photo, and location. Your shortened profile will appear in search results. Other visitors can invite you to be a friend, but they cannot view your full profile unless you add them to your Friends & Family list.

Everyone. Selecting this option allows all visitors to see your full profile. Your full profile will be displayed in search results.
By clicking on the "My Health Topics" link in the "Edit Profile" box, you can select different privacy options for each of your chosen health topics.
Please note that there are no privacy settings for Discussion Forums. All Discussion Forum posts are accessible to the public.
Finally, please remember that EverydayHealth.com is accessible to all Internet users, so you should take great care in deciding what information to reveal on your profile — and who will have access to that information. Take precautions to protect your identity. We strongly advise that you don't include any details in your profile, blog, or Discussion Forum posts that someone could use to identify you, such as your last name, e-mail address, mailing address, or phone number.
